The Associates assist individuals and families by providing counseling services for teenagers and young adults experiencing emotional or personal difficulty in their lives or seeking to improve the quality of their interpersonal relationships. We also serve those individuals who sense a lack of personal fulfillment, feel adrift, or desire greater success in school, college, and/or their career.
The Associates provide a full range of qualitative and quantitative psycho-educational testing, evaluations, re-evaluations, and advocacy services for high school and college students. Additionally we provide career and vocational evaluations including interest, personality, ability, and aptitude assessments.
The Associates provide professional academic and career counseling, planning, and advocacy services for high school students exploring college selection, admissions advisement, as well as assistance with course of study choices, academic majors, and careers. Tutoring and ACT Test Prep are also available. Our professionals also assist students, young adults, and families seeking career counseling and guidance.
Using an eclectic combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, talk therapy, reality therapy, and behavior modification within the framework of a harm reduction model, we assist individuals and families by providing personalized counseling services for those suffering from substance abuse and additions.
Working together as a theraputic team, Melissa and Steve provide focused, needed and effective counseling; empowering women and providing radical changes in the attitudes and behaviors of men.
